Attorney Timothy Manchin started Manchin Injury Law Group with a dual mission: to help families and individuals hurt by the negligence of others obtain fair and full compensation for their losses; and to continue his family’s long tradition of public service to the people and communities of North Central West Virginia.
Our Practice
Today, the majority of our practice focuses on representing families in the Fairmont area and throughout north central West Virginia who have legal claims involving personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death. In addition, our lawyers offer valuable experience with regard to business litigation and election law issues.
What Makes Us Different?
We know that there are a lot of other lawyers and law firms out there for you to choose from. Here are some things we think set us apart:
- Our people. Each of our attorneys and every member of our legal team take pride in being professional, and in providing high quality legal services and effective representation on behalf of every client.
- We know settlements and we know trial. As a firm, we are known for our willingness to take tough personal injury cases and for our successes at trial as well. That said — we have had a great deal of experience and success in negotiating out-of-court settlements, and in fact, most of our cases do settle prior to trial. Because of our experience both in the courtroom and at the negotiation table, our lawyers know what cases are worth and are able to represent clients effectively wherever their case needs to go. Insurance companies need to know your lawyers are prepared to do the work, hire the experts and spend the money necessary to go to trial before they will settle your case for what it is worth. That’s why we prepare every case like it’s going to trial and have a reputation for making the insurance companies settle for the maximum amount prior to trial.
- We treat our clients like family. Our office is a friendly, supportive environment where attorneys, staff and clients can talk to each other on a first-name basis and expect to be treated like family. We take the time to get to know our clients and to understand how they have been affected by their injuries. In addition, we care enough about them to help them with the non-legal issues they face.
